I was delighted to fly stand by up to Toronto Aug. 15th. I stayed with Laura and Matthew and got to meet my one month old grandson, Luke William! Saturday we visited Fair Havens Conference grounds in Beaverton. Great memories... I enjoyed fellowship with Tim and Claudia Britskey's home Bible study and friends Saturday evening. Then we visited Winona Gospel Church Sunday morning. I flew back to TN Aug. 18th. - John

On the morning of July 14, 2008 our daughter, Laura, gave birth to Luke William Parsonson. He was born at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto after 10+ hours of labor. The little guy weighed in at 7lbs 8oz. Laura, Matt, and baby are doing well. Praise the Lord!

Eleven of us were able to get together in South Carilina in June for a refreshing family vacation at the beach. My two step sisters live in the area. We had quality time with Brad, Ketti and kids

Stephen and Jared graduated from Pigeon Forge High School on May 29, 2008. The ceremony took place in the Country Tonite Theater. We were glad to have both sets of grandparents, Brad and Ketti, and Sarah attend. Afterward we had a little celebration at home.
